Stanislav Letz said: «The boundaries of paradise are moving, but they always pass through us.» Concepts of paradise vary greatly because everyone has their own idea of what it should be based on the peculiarities of a person’s inner world.
We believe in heaven, angels and the greatness of the soul, which has its own special path in the material world.
The Garden of Eden. Paintings, sculptures, the smell of lightly coloured trees, eternally young and green. The heat cuts through the breeze. A bird alights on a tree and brings forth a miraculous song about love for the world.
The twig is made of silver, and the bird and leaves are made of yellow gold. Add a drop of delicate pearl, a symbol of sophistication and beauty, that is left suspended on the twig.
True beauty does not require winding explanations or vivid turns of phrase. We accept it into our lives as simply and clearly as we accept an autumn morning, the smell of violets, or a bird singing on a tree in the early morning forest. We do not ask why it is perched there or what underlying mechanics lead to birdsong. We simply immerse ourselves in its melodic sounds, in its subtle associations, in the warm words of its tiny, fluttering body. Feelings, inner strength and emotional depth are all intertwined in this fragile creature.
When we hear it and feel its presence, then our inner world comes to a sudden halt. The universe itself stops moving for a second. Its atoms condense to their original size, shrinking to the eye of a miniscule needle instead of forming millions of galaxies.
It’s as simple as that.
