Forest twig — ring made of oxidized silver and white gold with emerald
When you are in the forest, you are part of the forest. When you dance in the rain, you are part of the rain. When you wake up and the morning light floods your room, you become part of the morning.
Forests are everywhere - in our beloved Carpathian Mountains, in fantastic Middle-Earth, in Narnia, in the saga of Merlin, in the magical world of Hogwarts. Forests are the soul of the world, and part of our souls as well. The magic of the forest lies in a labyrinth that reveals the way to its dark depths, a vast desert teeming with the unknown, the code embedded in the DNA of civilization itself.
However, forests do not only exist in tangible form. We also have a hidden, protected forest inside us where one can find the sprouts of feelings, the flowers of expectations, the ancient wisdom of trunks and canopies stretching to the sky. Elves and beasts of all sorts can be found there, as well as people who change their paths, like a magician who never stages the same performance twice.
Have you noticed that the woods seem familiar to us for reasons you can’t immediately grasp? It is almost like a pseudo déjà vu, a dream carried to us on the soundwaves of a refrain from a forgotten song, the golden eternities of a past childhood or past life. It is when you have the feeling inside that your heart was pounding the same way a million years ago. The clouds drifting overhead vouch for your feeling of distant acquaintance, and this path through the woods, peculiar a hundred times over, winds beyond where your eyes can see.
Kilometres of the gentlest silence, as if the wind itself flew away to winter in distant warmer lands. Birds carefully flutter about, perching on whichever branches are most to their liking. There are cold white mushrooms and purple bells in the meadows. There is the trembling of aspen leaves and the forest twilight. There is the green dampness of moss and fireflies dancing in the first drop of the night.
Answers can always be found in the forest, along with that one cherished path - the way to yourself.
The ‘Forest Twig’ ring. The base of the ring is a nod to our famous ‘Bird on a Twig’ model, only in this case, we have replaced the bird with a marvellous emerald. Silver, oxidation. A flexible twig that flawlessly follows the flows of the finger.
