Incredible story of the collection "Bird"

    On the street — the spring of 2017. One of the brothers, Roman Kochut, went for a walk with his son. The son was still small, only one year old, and was very happy with the spring sun. They walked in the park: it was warm and cozy, the trees just started to be covered with the first green leaves, and the air was already fresh and flowering.

    Father and son passed by a tree. And suddenly the children’s joy played in new colors: a bird flew to the tree, sat on a twig and sang. The child was very surprised at this simple phenomenon of nature: he smiled and rejoiced, as if it were a real miracle.

    For him it was not just a mechanical action of a living being. For him opened a whole new world: can a bird really come and sing so beautifully, so unusual?

    Such a blank canvas of children’s perception of the world — be able to enjoy simple things. To see a miracle in every minute of life. To look at the world with sincere admiration — as if every new day is a holiday and happiness. Make discoveries in every tree, blade of grass, leaflet, event, feeling.

    Roman Kochut very brightly remembered this moment. Arriving in the evening in the studio, he made a workpiece, and then embodied in silver and gold singing bird on the tree. So children’s emotions and purity of perception of the world became a pre-history for the creation of one of the most famous and favorite collections of jewelry from Kochut.

    The classic version of «Bird» is a silver twig covered with oxidation, with golden buds and a singing bird of yellow gold. The ring looks very beautiful on the finger — as if it’s a whole picture, and not just a simple decoration. It is convenient to wear on a finger, because the twig is made in such a way that it densely surrounds the finger, but it can expand and contract as necessary.

    But the main thing is a feeling of beauty and tenderness. «Birdy» gives a special elegance to beautiful women’s hands, and silver and gold perfectly color the skin at any time of the year.

    Later we began to transform the classic «Birds» model, adding new beautiful elements to it. Fortunately, we have very creative customers who inspire to invent and, as Steve Jobs said, reinvent the amazingly beautiful decorations.

    So, with a portion of inspiration from our customers, we added gold flowers and diamonds to Birdy, started making it in white and yellow gold. A little later, a pendant and earrings «Birds» appeared, which can also be ordered in any metal, with and without diamonds.

    Already in 2018 (!) A year after the creation of the model, she got to the National Museum of Historical Treasures in the city of Kiev. In 2017, «Birdie» was one of the most popular rings, the leader among the bestsellers. And it’s not strange, is it?

    She is often given to her beloved girlfriend, sister, and mother. Also our «Birdie» serves as an unusual ring for the proposal: the girl’s refusal is simply impossible. And once it was also presented as a congratulation to the mother with the birth of a child. «Birdy» — for all occasions and for all holidays, it will definitely become an occasion for happy gratitude.

    So, the usual spring episode of childish wonder from the miracle of nature became the reason for a whole series of events in the lives of completely different people. This is an important lesson for us.
